w7 Banana dreams loose powder review

Review on w7 Banana Dreams loose powder

So I was looking for an alternative to the Ben Nye powder as it's quite pricey. I came across 2 alternatives - an LA Colors one (which I can't get in the UK) and the w7 Banana Dreams.
I bought this for £5 on eBay however some people have found it for £2 in Peacocks - you'll be lucky if you find it there though, I find their w7 displays are often a hit or miss.

I believe the product inside is 20g, which is a great price. You get a lot of product for £5!
The packaging is very simple [first pc: http://beautybestfriend.com/] you get a sturdy circular box with a black lid. I'm honestly not a huge fan of it - the lid font choice looks tacky to me, but packaging honestly isn't something I care much for.
There are some holes at the top like most loose powders to get the product by shaking. The powder is a yellowy shade as you can imagine since it is a banana powder.

The granules of the powder are very very fine and soft. I really love how this powder feels.
I bought this for use on prom, and I was very worried about flashback. If applied evenly this powder is amazing. I need more practise with it but the actual powder has no white cast. - Great for WOC/Dark skin.

The powder lasts all day. I have worn it on several occasions and using it to bake means my make-up stays matte all day. This is amazing to press into oily areas of your face. Trust me - it will last all day. I can even tell the parts I set and the parts I didn't as some parts of my face are dewy and some matte - but it looks all smooth!

I get no odd smell from this powder, it's completely fine and without a doubt I would give it 5 stars. Other reviews of it have been very positive too.

Check out my Prom GRWM where I use it!
