KIKO Skin evolution foundation review

I was at covent garden and as usual, KIKO was on sale. I decided to pick up their skin evolution foundation which was half price at £6.30 I believe. I tried to find some reviews quickly in the store, but none of them were in english! Anyway, I got it because it was such a good price, and here's my opinion :)
This is the card packaging - its very sleek, simple and informative. The actual packaging is a sturdy high quality matte bottle. It comes with a pump which is always a plus. I really like the packaging, it's nothing like anything I have.

I have the shade cocoa 116. I would say this foundation is medium to full coverage. It is quite high coverage while feeling light on the skin. I have dry skin and I didn't feel it was drying or clinged to any dry patches, but it wasn't particularly moisturising either. Something that stuck out to me was how red toned the foundation is. You can almost tell in the swatch how cool toned my skin is compared to the foundation. I have to do a lot of blending to make sure it doesn't look ridiculous. I also have to blend a lot down to my neck which is something I don't like doing because I don't want my foundation transferring to clothing, however it is not a huge problem.

I wore the foundation quite recently and it lasted all day without going oily, bearing in mind I did use a primer (claire's face primer) as I like to prime every day. I was very happy with how it looked - flawless all day. It covered a lot of my uneven skin as well as spots too. It doesn't smell odd or have anything off putting like that. The amount of product you get is also very good for the price.

I definitely am a fan of this foundation, but if you have cool toned skin make sure you have a close look at swatches and which one to go for.

I would give this 4/5 stars. Click here for my review of the concealer version of this.
